The Topeka RoadRunners would like to announce the signing of their first two tenders under new ownership group, Loretto Sports Ventures and Head Coach/GM Simon Watson.

The first is Howell, Michigan forward Jacob Behnke. Jake played high school hockey the last two seasons in Michigan for Hartland High, accumulating 68 points. He had 32 goals and 34 assists in 46 games. Behnke is a highly intelligent hockey player with a great ability to make plays with and without the puck.

The next tender is Dylan Montie from Brighton, Michigan. Dylan played his last two seasons with Detroit Catholic Central and accumulated 25 goals and 41 assists for a total of 66 points. Dylan will bring a unique set of skills to the RoadRunners with his size and playmaking ability.

Justin DeMartino, associate coach for the RoadRunners had this to say about the two signings.

“As a staff, Simon and I are extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with incredibly skilled players, as well as high character kids such as Dylan and Jake. We feel that signing these players has us going in the right direction this off-season.”
