The Topeka RoadRunners are teaming up with the Shriners for a charity jersey auction to take place on March 23. Half of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

“With the great support of our fans in our previous fundraising efforts this season, we are confident that our fans will step up and help support the Shriners,” said Joe Clark, Executive Director of Business Operations for the RoadRunners. “We are proud to have partnered with yet another amazing charity.”

The jerseys will be worn by the players during both Friday and Saturday’s games that weekend (7pm puck drop). A separate team autographed jersey will be on display both nights for silent auction at the team’s merchandise booth in the NE Concourse of Landon Arena. At the conclusion of Saturday night’s game, the game worn jerseys will be auctioned off.

“We are very excited about partnering with the RoadRunners and the prospect of furthering our goals as an organization with the support of their fans,” added Roger Farthing, Public Relations Director for the Arab Shrine Temple of Topeka. “The Shriners Hospitals for Children can only grow stronger with the support of everyone in our community.”
