There’s ice in the Kansas Expocentre. The Topeka RoadRunners & the Topeka Capitals are in full swing with Training Camp, and the 2014-15 hockey season is less than two weeks away. Season Ticket Holders, who are a cornerstone of the strength of the RoadRunner experience along with a dedicated and passionate Booster Club are invited to an exclusive “Meet & Greet” with this year’s team on Tuesday, September 2 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Lazy Toad Restaurant in Topeka. RoadRunners Players and Coaches will be there from 5-6, while Capitals Players and Coaches will be on hand from 6-7.
12 members from last season’s South Division Playoff Champions squad have reported to Training Camp. The 60-game NAHL season opens Friday September 12 when the RoadRunners welcome the Corpus Christi Ice Rays for a two game series. Head Coach / GM Scott Langer and his staff have assembled an impressive group of talented players who are poised and ready to defend their title.
