Owner, Don Stone and Players speak at Rotary Luncheon

RoadRunners owner Don Stone along with Topeka RoadRunners Kevin Ryan and Tony Thomas spoke at the Rotary Club of Topeka luncheon today at the Ramada Inn downtown. Don and the players were invited by Rotary member and WIBW-13 Station Manager Jim Ogle to speak about the RoadRunners Organization.

Addressing an audience of close to 200 members, Don spoke of his background and community involvement as the Owner of the Topeka RoadRunners. He pledged his support for the community and reached out to those who might not be familiar with the RoadRunners and the Junior Players that play here. Kevin and Tony also took the podium to speak about their backgrounds, development as players, and life in the Topeka Community. All three were well received by the Rotary members.

Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto \”Service Above Self\”.
