After a long, hard fought day between goalies at the first ever Pilots Open Camp in Bensenville, Illinois, coaches Simon Watson and Justin DeMartino had to make the ultimate decision.
The day began with 16 goalies on the ice who each received direction and individual attention from the coaches. Goalies ran multiple drills to show off their skills and battle for one of the limited spots to continue with the weekend with the Pilots. At 5:45 pm, the final team rosters were posted for the four camp teams, which left only 8 goalies with good news.
We want to congratulate the goalies who are moving on with us this weekend and thank the others who attended camp for their hard work and participation.
