Due to a Zamboni malfunction, the contest between the Topeka RoadRunners and the Amarillo Bulls that was to take place tonight (Oct. 3rd) has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 5th, at 12pm.
All tickets to Friday night's game can be redeemed for admission to Sunday's game at no extra charge. Fans who are unable to attend the game on Sunday can have their tickets exchanged at equal value for any upcoming game this season. To exchange your tickets for a game other than Sunday's, call 785-286-7825 or visit the RoadRunners Offices at 1800 SW Exoduster Blvd.
Prior to Saturday night's game, the Roadrunners will be hosting a pregame party at Jose Peppers (1425 SW Wanamaker Rd) from 5pm to 6pm. All fans who attend will receive a special RoadRunner autographed puck and can be entered in a raffle to win an exclusive locker room tour with a RoadRunner. The National Guard will be giving away free commemorative South Division Championship pucks to the first 500 fans through the doors at Landon Arena.
October is also National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In acknowledgement of the ongoing fight against this dreaded disease, the RoadRunners will be wearing special pink jerseys next weekend (Oct. 11-12). They will hold a silent auction for each game worn jersey starting this Saturday and ending on Oct. 12th. Tickets are still available for these games and parking will be free.
