NAHL Cancels Remainder of 2019-2020 Season
By approval of the NAHL Board of Governors on March 16th, 2020, the League has reached a unanimous agreement to cancel the remaining games of 2019-2020 regular season, effective immediately.
WHAT IS THE PILOTS INDIVIDUAL TICKET REFUND POLICY?
Fans who purchased tickets online directly from Ticketmaster will be subject to Ticketmaster’s event cancellation policies, which can be found HERE. The request for all of our remaining game refunds has already been submitted to Ticketmaster. Due to the high volume of requests they are receiveing, they are issuing refunds in chronological order based on event date. Please give them time to process this, and if you have any questions you can contact Ticketmaster customer service at 1 (800) 653-8000.
If you purchased tickets in person at the box office you will need to take all of your tickets for remaining games to the box office where you will receive a refund. However, since the Stormont Vail Events Center is currently closed, in-person refunds will begin at a later designated date. Please stay tuned for more information on when the building reopens to the public and in-person refunds can begin.
WHAT ABOUT REFUNDS FOR SEASON TICKET HOLDERS?
Full season ticket holders have four regular season home games remaining in their 2019-2020 plan. The method of refund will depend on how you originally paid for your tickets. If you paid with credit card we will automatically refund the appropriate amount (based on your seat price and amount of seats) back to your card. You can expect this refund to show on your statement within seven days. If you paid with cash or check your refund will have to be processed through our accounting department and you will receive a physical check in the mail. Please allow approximately three weeks for this check to arrive.
Half season ticket holders will receive a refund for the remaining games of your 14 game package. You will be refunded appropriately for the games dates you submitted to attend March 27 - April 4, meaning refund amounts will vary from account to account. If you have already used all 14 of your games, you will not receive any refund because your ticket package has been fully used.
If you have moved since filling out your season ticket form last spring/summer, or if you called to purchase season tickets and did not fill out a physical form, please contact our office to update your address by direct messaging the Pilots Facebook page or calling 785-266-7825 during normal office hours.
GROUP TICKET REFUNDS
If you have purchased group tickets for any of the four remaining regular season games please call the Pilots office at 785-266-7825 during regular business hours M-F 9am-5pm to request your refund. You will be refunded in the same form of payment you originally paid. Cards will be automatically refunded, while cash/checks will require our accounting department to process a check and mail it to you. Please allow approximately three weeks for this check to arrive.
WILL I STILL GET MY PILOTS PLAYOFF SHIRT?
Unfortunately, we decided to cancel the order for playoff shirts in lieu of the leagues decision to cancel the remainder of the season. If you purchased a playoff shirt the card you used will be refunded.
We have already processed all of these refunds. It should be reflected on your statement no later than March 27th.
DOES THIS EFFECT OTHER PILOTS EVENTS?
Effective immediately, all Topeka Pilots players involvement in community events are cancelled.
While our season has been cancelled, our staff is currently focused on responding to and helping Pilots fans with account/ticket questions and concerns. As you can imagine, this takes time, so we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this unexpected challenge.
